Not all parts of a dragon are equally magical. Some of their fangs are just fangs. But I don't believe in wasting kills. It would be most disrespectful to the fallen. So I carved them into something useful, or at least decorative, while I was out watching the flowers and the moon.
Please feel free to take it as a celebration of your birth, though I was not aware of the date. But I have no memory of my own. A wanderer with no name has no need to have his birth and death recorded. There is no need for pity, I don't mind. I simply take each new year as it comes.
