Either way, just as she said the door was unlocked for her to come in. There're two made beds, one that looks like someone was sitting on it and the fourth...
Ah, there's a warlord shaped lump under the covers of the fourth.]
Unless you're Vietnam, go away...ill kill you...
[Even that muffled threat is sounding a little halfhearted.]
[In fact, she's being a little overdramatic...like she is at all times about everything, too, but.
Either way the mysterious, warlord shaped lump begins to stir beneath the covers, rising to reveal it is none other than..............................
Nobunaga, surprise. Who would've guessed. She sits on the edge of her bed, keeping a hold of the cover around her on the inside, mostly to keep herself wrapped up because she sleeps naked...and considering Vietnam was kind of apprehensive about the hot springs at first, she's guessing maybe she ought to keep herself covered up.
She could get dressed, but she's hoping she won't have to, so maybe this'll do...]
[Even if she's being overdramatic, sometimes you can't be too stubborn! Though Vietnam can't talk because she's always stubborn.
And surprise, a Nobunaga! She's...well, Vietnam doesn't mind so much now about her being naked aside from the usual matters of dignity. So as long as Nobunaga is covered up because she needs to be warm. That is more important.]
Here we are...[Now that she's all sat up, Vietnam offers her the water, holding out a glass she just poured closer.]
[She keeps a hold on the covers from the inside with one hand so her other arm can make an appearance, reaching out through them to take the glass and start drinking.]
Hah...there really is nothing like it, huh? I could drink my own weight in water right now...
[FORTUNATELY, Vietnam has the two components there with her: tea and ginger. If they can mix it together...]
Alright, let's try this.
[She takes the ginger out, and drops a generous amount into a cup. With the hot flask of tea she brought with her, she pours it out, into the cup, and puts a plate on top of it so the heat does not escape.
she's kind of doubting whatever she has in mind for this. It's certainly not wrong but this is a woman who is very particular about tea being done right...
Before she can pour the tea onto the ginger she puts her other, free hand out suddenly to stop her.]
...fshouldn't [Yes.] have to settle for this on account of me. A-actually, I'm feeling a lot better all of a sudden so how about I make it for you? Because you came all this way, it's the polite thing to do!
[It's true, there is a huge difference between making tea for the beauty of tea and its artform, and making tea ON THE GO for creating a liquid potion (sort of). Vietnam watches as Nobunaga struggles to stop her, and she notices that she's a lot more energetic, in any case.]
Oh! Alright. I mean if you are feeling better...
[She turns around anyway, since Nobunaga is already out of bed and actually walking.] If you need me to help you find your clothes as well--!
[She's still not feeling great, but she's also perfectly capable of just carrying on regardless. You don't make it as a warlord by slowing down on account of a hangover.
Especially someone who drinks so much......]
It's fine! Really.
[Opening up her chest...rummaging through it...
She's actually already dressed before she tells Viet to turn around, but she was busy taking out the essentials too. She has her own cups, a container to boil water in, a sieve...these are your essentials when you're her.
Either way, there's the sound of the chest closing before-]
Alright, I'm decent. Now let's see...
[She stands from the floor to get the water Vietnam brought with her, returning to the container to fill it with whatever's left. It's enough, at least, and she's satisfied to put it into the top of the chest, placing both hands against the sides.]
This is a wonderful little thing I picked up. You get it to your desired temperature with a little fire magic, and the container on the inside heats, but the outer layer remains unaffected...no chance of setting anything on fire by accident.
[Eventually the water starts to boil, and she's satisfied to leave it at that, removing her hands and holding one hand out to Vietnam.]
[And she didn't even know any of this was transpiring behind her at all, not even after she turned around. Though she was surprised to see all those essentials.
Nobunaga sure is prepared. But Vietnam hopes she won't exert herself!]
My goodness, I keep forgetting that we can use our fire magic to cook now. [Still...using fire. And she's really creative with her heal, so this is just pathetic.
But she looks so fascinated as Nobunaga works, even after she hands her the ginger.]
Ufufu...I don't know if I'd be willing to try cooking seriously with it, but something as simple as boiling water suits me just fine.
[Besides, in the future Asuna's going to ask for help stopping a train with regards to fire magic and Nobunaga is going to be 10,000% useless.
But she'll settle for being impressive this way.....for now. When handed the ginger, she gets to peeling it and then breaks it up into smaller pieces with her hands. It's a little less elegant than if she used a knife, but she doesn't have one, and she isn't bothered about doing it that way.
So she just dumps the ginger into the water now that it's prepared.]
I'll admit, it will take a while, depending on how you like your tea...how strong do you take it?
Aha, perhaps one day I will try. Then we will be able to have finely cooked meals on the go, or while camping.
[Sometimes, you'll never know when you're dumped in the wilderness. Or stopping trains, but life is just that unpredictable.
Now back to watching Nobunaga work this craft. This of course is a much more careful way of preparing tea, so she's certain that Nobunaga just wants it done 100093040938094% right. Considering her request for it to be made into tea, she must take it about as seriously as Levi.]
I do not mind it as bitter as it can be, but mostly I go for it tasting its best. [So the different levels of deep flavours? She'll take any.] Why don't you show my the strength you prefer the most? I think this will be a good way to know what you like.
But she's not really used to talking while trying to keep her brain to mouth filter firmly switched to the ON position. What does she say?? Why is this difficult?? IS THIS WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WANT TO IMPRESS SOMEONE.

I will see you soon, rest well, Nobunaga.
[And she ends the feed so that she can retrieve everything for Nobunaga. Tea, ginger, probably something to air out the room a bit.
And when Vietnam comes, she does at Nobunaga told her to do: JUST WALK ON IN.]

No need to kill anyone and get more sick for exerting yourself. It is Vietnam.
[And she approaches carefully, so that Nobunaga doesn't get jostled suddenly.] I brought some water, can you sit up?
[If not, she'll help her up!]

[Takes another sip-]
Erm. [A beat.] ...thank you. For, uh...coming all this way for my sake, even though you didn't have to...or anything...
I, uh. I appreciate it.
[Can you tell she doesn't say this kind of thing often..........
Y'know, genuine thanks or appreciation for other's consideration.]

It is no problem. You have been good to me, no? So I really should be good to you too. Well, I did it because I wanted to.
[She puffs up proudly before taking up the ginger. Don't worry, she understands awkward. She could be just as bad.] So you're welcome, Nobunaga.

[i tried so hard to work that line in naturally
Either way, she's not really up to date on hangover cures. She gestures her glass in the direction of the ginger curiously.]
What's that for?
no subject
One's thirst must always be quenched. One most always check if you have an available source of water. [I managed to put check in it at least.......
She raises the ginger up.] This should help with your hangover.

[She doesn't know if that was Viet's plan, but.
Ginger tea sounds good.
And she is mad hype about tea at all times.]
